I had a Spanish textbook in high school called "churros y chocolate", when I went to Barcelona I didn't see them anywhere..its funny to hear that they are still common. Sounds like you are having a good time. I have to say the thought of drinking Vermouth made me laugh a little! It has been cool keeping up with the photos on Flickr, hopefully you have way more when you get back (?) Take care.
